My stay at Peking Yard Boutique Hotel was quite enjoyable, thanks to its charming ambiance and friendly staff. though there were a few drawbacks. The location was great, just a short walk from the metro, but the room's temperature control was lacking and the layout was a bit awkward. Overall, it delivered a unique experience but felt a bit overpriced for the amenities offered.

Rooms

The loft-style room was unique but not very practical, especially in the middle of the night. and space was tight without a wardrobe. The Japanese toilet was a nice touch, but the lack of full privacy with the shower and toilet might not suit everyone.
Service

The staff were friendly and attentive despite their limited experience. sometimes it took extra time to get answers to simple questions. While I appreciated their attempts with translation apps, it could get a bit frustrating.

Nestled in a quiet alley in the Hutong area, the hotel was definitely an unexpected gem. just a short walk to the metro and nearby attractions. The surrounding area felt safe and had a lovely local vibe.
Dining

Breakfast options were limited and started too late for my schedule. however, the food at the bar was enjoyable and reasonably priced. I could see how the lack of variety could be disappointing over several days.
Facilities

The hotel had a cozy communal area filled with plants and inviting vibes. but the overall facilities could use some attention to detail for an upgraded experience. WiFi was a bit slow, which I found inconvenient at times.

Peking Yard Boutique Hotel offered a nice stay in a charming neighborhood, though the room's temperature control was lacking. The staff was friendly and the location was excellent, but the bathroom privacy could be an issue for some.

My loft-style room had a lovely charm, but the layout wasn't ideal for late-night trips to the bathroom. The glass cubicle toilet setup felt less private, and I found the rooms to be on the smaller side without much space to unpack my things.
Service

The reception staff was friendly, though somewhat inexperienced. Simple inquiries took longer than expected, and their English could have been better. I relied on my translation app quite a bit.

Nestled in a quaint hutong area near the Forbidden City, the hotel's location is fantastic. I loved the easy access to the subway and didn’t mind the charming walk to the nearby bakery.

Breakfast was included, but the options were quite limited and started too late for early risers like me. I found the choices repetitive after a few days, which was somewhat disappointing.

The hotel provided good facilities such as room service and laundry. It had a lovely common area filled with flowers, but it could have been better serviced.

My stay at Peking Yard Boutique Hotel was quite pleasant. The location was excellent, tucked away in a charming hutong neighborhood just minutes from the metro. However, I found the pricing a bit high for the amenities offered.

Rooms

The room was stylish and compact, perfect for a solo traveler. but it would feel cramped for two. I appreciated the remote-controlled curtains and the modern amenities, including a Japanese toilet. yet, the lack of proper temperature control left the room quite warm during my stay.
Service

The staff was generally friendly and eager to help. I encountered one English-speaking team member who was particularly welcoming, making my mornings brighter with homemade Matcha Lattes. However, English was limited among most staff, which warranted some creative communication.

The hotel’s location is one of its biggest assets. nestled in a quiet hutong area, it’s just a short walk to the metro, making it easy to explore Beijing. I loved the traditional feel of the neighborhood surrounding the hotel.
Dining

The dining options were reasonable, but I was disappointed by the limited breakfast offerings. Only three options available every day, and it started a bit late for travelers wanting an early start. I wish there were more variety, especially for those with dietary restrictions.
Facilities

The communal area was beautifully designed and inviting. though amenities like wifi were slower than I expected. The shared spaces created a nice atmosphere for relaxation, but the room could use some renovations.

My stay at Peking Yard Boutique Hotel was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic, nestled in a quiet hutong area and just a short walk to the metro. The ambiance in the communal space is cozy and inviting, but the small room size and lack of proper temperature control made my stay slightly uncomfortable.

Rooms

The compact room I stayed in was nicely styled and came with some cool amenities like a Japanese toilet. However, there was no closet, and I found the glass cubicle for the toilet to be a bit awkward.
Service

Most of the staff were friendly and tried their best with translation, though not everyone spoke English fluently. One cheerful girl made my mornings with her amazing Matcha Lattes.

This hotel is in a great spot, just a five-minute walk to the metro. I loved being in such a quiet area while still being close to major attractions.

While I enjoyed the vibe of the bar area, the breakfast routine was a letdown—only a few options that didn’t change throughout my five-day stay.

The hotel has decent facilities with room service and housekeeping, but the room could use a little renovation for a fresher look.
